Monty Hudson

Vice President, Sales & Media

As Vice President of Sales & Media, Monty is responsible for overseeing Revenue Science's direct sales efforts, managing the company's national sales and media development teams, and fostering the advancement of strategic network partnerships.

Prior to joining Revenue Science, Monty was a sales executive at online advertising networks Fastclick and ValueClick. In that capacity, he led sales efforts and managed major agency and performance advertising accounts. Previous to his network sales positions, Monty was the national sales manager for a major business publication's online properties. Responsible for product positioning, inventory management, and leading a national sales team, he quadrupled online advertising revenue in his first year.

Monty is the former director of digital publishing for RioPort, a leading digital audio service provider and developers of the Rio, the first portable digital audio player and precursor to the iPod. In that capacity he was responsible for online sales strategy, negotiating strategic partnerships, and utilizing technology to create new revenue channels for publishers. While at RioPort, Monty contributed to the development of new DRM technology for copyright protection and was instrumental in the production of the Internet's first podcasts.

Prior to his tenure at RioPort, Monty ran the Entertainment Studies department for the continuing education division of UCLA, worked in international marketing for a major record label, and managed major and independent-label recording artists.
