Corporate IT Manager—IT Operations
The Revenue Science corporate IT environment involves one central office, a corporate datacenter, two remote offices, and several independently stationed remote employees.
The Corporate IT Manager will ensure that all of RSI's employees, including executives, sales, marketing, finance, research & development, and Production IT staff have their Corporate IT needs met through thorough and successful planning, administration, and support of the IT infrastructure.
The Candidate must be personable, outgoing, self-starting, and detail oriented. They should also be able to translate the needs of business users into technical terms and drive implementation projects through to completion.
The Corporate IT Manager is responsible for accomplishing the objectives and responsibilities outlined below:
- Get up-to-speed with all existing infrastructure components and take charge.
- Provide communications services including, but not limited to:
- Exchange/Outlook/Web mail
- Telephony via VoIP
- Blackberry and PDA services
- Instant Messaging
- Provide network services including, but not limited to:
- Wireless access points
- VPN/remote user access
- Inter-Office/PTP Connectivity, incl. WAN acceleration technologies
- Assist in the identification of need as well as development and implementation of projects to support and grow the IT infrastructure and related services.
- Day-to-day issue management and resolution, including staying in touch with end-users to ensure services are delivered effectively.
- Data and network security, standards, policy development, education, and enforcement; backup and archival; updates and patches; regulatory compliance.
- Asset management and tracking, budgeting, equipment life-cycle, capacity planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ Years experience in Information Technology, with 2+ years supervisory experience.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualifications in the field of Computer Science.
- Prior experience administering Microsoft applications including Windows OS, Office, Exchange, SQL Server, Active Directory.
- Strong grasp of network design and administration concepts.
- Experience managing IT services for remote offices.
- Good customer service focus.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Linux is a plus.
