Systems Software Development Engineer

Senior Software Development Engineers at Revenue Science are designing and implementing the infrastructure behind a massively scalable system that provides targeted advertising for some of the biggest names on the web. Successful candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent.
• 3+ years of solid systems development experience using Java. C/C++ skills are also highly valued.
• Experience in developing, testing and debugging distributed, muti-tiered systems.
• Excellent object-oriented programming ability and an appreciation of well-tuned, high-performance engines.
• Working knowledge of internet protocols, relational databases, data warehouses, memory management, multithreading.
• Familiarity with Linux, J2EE, HTML, XML, and Spring MVC.
• Drive to investigate new technologies and technical hurdles independently, and be able to clearly communicate your recommendations and solutions.
• Inclination to work well with others in a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environment.

Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelors degree in CS or equivalent work experience, 3+ years Java and serious development experience. Must have strong communication and organization skills, and be a self-starter.
